Virgin Mary from the Holy Spirit’s Valley
Between the 8th and the 15th of September in Nueva Esparta state, take place great festivals of Margarita related to the ceremonies devoted to Virgin Mary from Valle, the island’s patron. This pilgrimage of people from the Holy Spirit’s Valley (El Valle del Espíritu Santo), attracts the citizens of Margarita and people from other parts of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to fulfill the promises made to the Virgin Mary.
