Meanwhile, on 11 June, the social movements celebrated the People’s Summit, a European and Latin American initiative in which participate delegations from different countries.
There were round tables organized to discuss various topics related to Latin America and Europe as well as an evening of solidarity with the peoples, with the participation of the presidents of the ALBA countries and other leaders of Latin America and Europe.
Present at the Summit, Vicepresident of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, expressed that “the solution of the problems will be sought with the people and socialism, not with capitalism”.
